State of Vermont to Host Vermont Film and Television
Industry Summit in Manchester

Montpelier, Vt. -- Professionals working in the fields of film and television production throughout

Vermont are invited to attend a networking and exploratory gathering hosted by the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development at stART Space, located at 263 Depot Street, Manchester Center, Vt. on Thursday, October 11th from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The event is designed to provide networking opportunities for individuals and businesses in the film and television industry, and to hold an exploratory conversation about how the State of Vermont can support the industry. There will be opportunities for businesses to share information about their work with attendees.

Several film and television related professionals will give brief presentations about their businesses, including:

  • Justin Bunnell, Owner, RetroMotion Creative, Williston
  • Joe Egan, Owner, Egan Media, Colchester
  • Harry McEnerny, Theater Arts Department Chair, Castleton University & the Vermont State Colleges System
  • Andy Reichsman, Ames Hill Video, Brattleboro
  • Cor Trowbridge, Executive Director, Brattleboro Community Television & Member, Vermont Access Network
  • Alex von Lichtenberg, Vice President & General Manager, Nexstar Burlington-Plattsburgh (Fox 44)
  • More professionals will be added to this list before the event.

The day’s events will include introductory remarks from Agency of Commerce & Community

Development Mike Schirling and Department of Tourism & Marketing Commissioner Wendy Knight, a PechaKucha-style presentation of several businesses in the field, networking lunch, and an interactive conversation on industry needs and ways the state can help.
