Governor Scott, Vermont Division for Historic Preservation and Vermont Advisory Council on Historic Preservation announce 2025 Barn Preservation Grant awardees.

Program has approved 642 projects since 2023 to keep Vermonters in their homes and create more housing

The most recent stop of Governor Phil Scott’s “Capital for a Day” initiative brought the Agency of Commerce and Community Development team to Lamoille County.

Recommendations include regulatory reform, funding incentives, and environmental remediation.

Projects include childcare, a food pantry, and increasing home ownership services.

Last assessment of this depth was conducted in 2012
