GSA Contracting Workshop and Construction Contracting Opportunities in Vermont
MONTPELIER, VT – The Vermont Procurement Technical Assistance Center (VT PTAC) invites businesses to attend a free GSA contracting workshop on May 9, 2019 in Burlington, Vermont in collaboration with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) and the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans). The morning session will discuss federal contracting, while the afternoon session will focus on Vermont construction contracting opportunities. Attendees are not required to attend both sessions but are encouraged to. Registration is required.
The GSA Schedules Program establishes long-term government-wide contracts allowing customers to buy directly from suppliers. “There are many benefits and advantages for Vermont small businesses to be a Schedule Contract Holder to sell their products and services to federal government agencies,” said Joanne Spaulding, director of VT PTAC. “The afternoon session will give construction contractors the opportunity to directly engage with GSA and VTrans representatives on contracting opportunities happening right here in Vermont.”
