Kim Gobeille and her husband are the owners and operators of Shanty on the Shore Restaurant since 1996 and Burlington Bay Market & Cafe since 2000 both located on Burlington's waterfront. In previous years they also owned and operated Breakwaters Cafe & Grill, Northern Lights Cruise Boat, and Burlington Bay Catering, employing over 300 people at the height of the summer tourism season. She is very active in the community and was previously a board member of the Boys and Girls Club in Burlington and currently serves as a member of the Burlington Business Association Waterfront Action Group. Gobeille attended Colby-Sawyer College and received a B.S in Business Administration. She lives in Shelburne with her husband Al and is a proud parent of three grown children and recently became a grandmother.
