Understanding the System for Award Management (SAM) - Burlington
Join the Vermont Procurement Technical Assistance Center (VT PTAC) for a hands-on workshop on registering your business in the System for Award Management (SAM). SAM is an official U.S. government website encompassing several agencies where companies can register to do business with the federal government and renew their entity registration annually. This training is offered in Burlington and Hyde Park.
“This is a great opportunity for anyone already doing business or looking to do business with the federal government to get hands-on assistance to complete this complex database. With this specific workshop, attendees have the flexibility to come and go during the time frame while our experienced counselors are on hand to guide them through”, said Joanne Spaulding, director of VT PTAC.
While the Federal Government is in shutdown and affecting some contract work, knowledge of the System for Award Management is essential to working with the Federal government.
