The Vermont Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) serves as the State Review Board as required by the National Historic Preservation Act. ACHP reviews and approve nominations to the State and National Registers of Historic Places, assesses survey documentation for historic properties, makes recommendations on projects seeking state and federal grant funding, and reviews state and federal undertakings that may affect historic properties.
