Dugout CanoeVermont Archaeology Heritage Center (VAHC) provides opportunities for students, educators, and interested visitors to study how past people and their cultures inform the present. A series of timelines and panels recount documented information about Vermont’s past and its people. Display cases with rotating exhibits contain artifacts from significant archaeological sites throughout the state and explain how these sites were identified and what they tell us about the people who occupied them.
