Important notes about the data included in this dashboard
- Starting in 2022, tax data will be recorded using a new method. Because of this change, data from 2018–2021 can’t be directly compared with newer data.
- For data from 2022 onward, see the "Taxable Receipts Summary" and "Quarterly Taxable Receipts Summary" tabs.
- For data from 2018–2021 (using the previous method), see the "Historic Taxable Receipts Summary" and "Historic Quarterly Taxable Receipts" tabs.
-
The numbers provided are taxable receipts. To calculate tax revenue, multiply receipts by the appropriate tax rate (available on the Vermont Department of Taxes website).
-
Monthly reports hold information for monthly filers only.
-
Multiple period reports include data for monthly, quarterly, and annual filers.
-
Information pertaining to fewer than 10 accounts has been suppressed to protect taxpayer confidentiality and is listed as $0.
-
Because of some of the notes above, the sum of monthly data may be lower than quarterly and annual data.
