How We Promote Vermont

How We Promote Vermont

The Vermont Department of Tourism & Marketing (VDTM) is constantly seeking out new and innovative ways to promote Vermont as an outstanding travel destination.

Whether it’s through our VermontVacation.com website and its Travel Planner, events calendar, promoting packages from Vermont attractions, connecting with potential visitors on social media, or representing our state at trade shows and events, VDTM’s staff is always exploring opportunities to attract more tourists to Vermont.

We welcome your comments, suggestions, and interest as we work to successfully promote Vermont to the world.

VermontVacation.com

The Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing's main commercial website, www.VermontVacation.com has been re-designed for a new user experience that works on any device. Whether you are seeking our vacation packages and deals, searching for events or suggestions on the many things to do in Vermont, www.VermontVacation.com is your home for booking a Vermont visit.

Vermont Travel Planner

Our online vacation planning tool featuring the largest searchable database of Vermont lodging, dining, events, attractions, recreation, and shopping, is searched hundreds of thousands of times each month. Business looking to be added to the Travel Planner should email the Karen Foote, from the Vermont Chamber of Commerce.

Trade Shows and Special Events

Regionally and around the world, the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing (VDTM) promotes our state through special events, consumer shows, and travel trade shows. View the current list of 2017 North American events. For more information on shows and partnership opportunities, please contact Sales Manager Kathleen Kolva at 802-272-2633.

Marketing Through Vacation Packages

Packaging offers businesses the opportunity to partner with the State and offer travelers unique experiences. These packages appear on VermontVacation.com.
